$495 per family or car-load (as long as you and all your kit fits into that car)! The goal of this course is to have students learn and demonstrate the fundamentals of survival during an emergency, either by evacuation or shelter in place. The challenges and civil unrest that will arise as gasoline is stipend, curfews are placed and electricity, sanitation, and the food and water suddenly run out. Crowded freeways with a city-wide exit strategy can bed a daunting and difficult to navigate safely. And violence peaks…

The student will demonstrate vehicle setup, security, shelter, land navigation, fire, food, river crossing, team work, leadership, sanitation, medical / first aid, and much, much more. The learning environment will incorporate the lower portion of the facilities 200 acres to include the sand bank and river.

OBJECTIVE

The students will gain knowledge of the key points to survive the first 72 hours and plan for the next. To have a“go bag”and vehicle strategy to move. To demonstrate the technical side and applications of the survival kit and to use its contents competently. The natural stress of having preparations but not functionalize them, or needing preparations, is unraveled in this courses. Skill sets needed to render aid to an injured individual, whether it be in a hostile or a non-hostile environment will be covered.

  • Patient movement/echelon of care
  • H-ABC’s
  • Wounds and wound care
  • Items you would pack in your vehicle such as tent, go bag, food and water etc.
  • Sanitation item such as wet wipes, large trash bags etc
  • Glow sticks, flashlights, and illumination for low light no-light
  • Tools you would pack
  • Personal affects and toiletries
  • Fire starting and cooking items
  • Parachute cord and or rope
  • Water purification items if you have them
  • Compass and other land navigation tools
  • Wear and bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and suitable for weather
  • Weapons you would pack or take
  • 300 rounds for primary weapons system and cleaning kit
  • Eye pro and ear pro
  • Bring a note pad and paper for notes (not required)
